Here is free version of a virus checker and shield. I have used this with success on an infected PC and removed a worm. The PC was attached shortly after the owner get ADSL! Even after the Harddisk was damage the virus/warm survived. It was not easy to remove, the restore function on Windows must be switched of and deleted, and then cleaning for the virus. that will work for a limited period. There are different types, and thereby many different prices I use one of these on my own PC. And I do not have problems with viruses. Furthermore I know they have a well working support. |

Labs From Zone Labs you can get a free Firewall. The firewall denyes unwanted access to and from machines & web-sites. Each time a new program try to access the internet you have to allow this. This tells you how you load the internet, and can denied unwanted use. I.e. if a virus try to access the internet you will be warned and can act to remove the virus. I use this tool with great success! |

It should check and remove viruses and even more remove other
superfluous files, as my friend says: "It moves! - it's great." I have used this to remove unwanted ghost popups - it really works - clean the PC. I think it is the best freeware to remove: SPY-ware Spy-ware is programs that collect data from your PC. What You are doing on the internet, maybe even Your passwords, pincodes and accounts! this last part is not legal, and the other part is not legal without Your agreement. For Your own sake: check what you agree when you download programs. |
